Discover Iron-Age Scotland: themed meal and lecture

Join us at Timespan for an evening beginning with a two-course Iron-Age themed meal. This will be followed by a lecture from an archaeologist specialising in Iron Age Scotland. We will also launch the sound art, stories and objects created at our workshops.

Iron Age Torc Hunt: Treasure Hunt and Workshop

Treasure hunt amongst the mannequins, reconstructions and museum objects for gold torcs - a neck adornment which displayed your status. Learn about the vats of gold found in Kildonnan and find out about the techniques used to turn gold nuggets into torcs. Prizes for the finding the torcs!

This exciting 2-day event will be led by a story-teller and musician and will explore the sounds and stories of archaeological sites.
