Birks Cinema

After closing down in the 1980s to become an amusement arcade, Birks Cinema reopened for business in April 2013 following a £1.3m construction programme. Facilities now include a 100 seat 3D screen and 64 seat café bar, serving snacks, main meals and drinks into the late evening.

The Birks Cinema is not yet open - the charity Friends of the Birks Cinema are working to raise funds in order to begin restoration of the building - with the aim to transform the Birks into a modern, community run cinema and café bar to entertain both residents and visitors and help put heart back into the town of Aberfeldy.
