Home for modern, mainstream, contemporary and traditional Jazz venue organised and run by devoted and discerning enthusiasts. This regular jazz gig, established in 1982, has occupied its present home since 1993.A well kept, single storey clubhouse, set back from the main road, is accessible with one shallow step straight into the concert room (no disabled access toilets). Friendly atmosphere.A small stage, with upright acoustic piano, Hammond organ and space for a quintet at the far end of room, benefits from delightful lighting effect! The room is intimate with good acoustics, enjoyed by a friendly and attentive audience. This jazz club consistently hosts high quality regional Jazz musicians and is well worth the 15 – 20 minute drive from central Manchester, or in my case Rochdale.
