Yesterday my daughter and I took the children to Danson park, My 30 month old grandson was on a trike that we could push. My granddaughter aged 8 wanted a pot of tea in the House and as we made for the House it started to rain which meant we couldn't sit outside. There was only one table being used inside but to be polite we asked would it be ok to bring the trike in, by now it was raining hard we were told with a smile that no we couldn't bring it in, they could see the children were getting wet and just smiled, as we walked off in the rain they both watched us and laughed, I have lived in this area all my life and used Danson Park as a small child, I would never visit the house again and never recommend it, I am appalled at our treatment. My family visited the house on the Sunday and had a lovely time but it was different staff, we visited on a Tuesday 3/4/2012. Once again I must state how shocked I am that 2 women would turn away children that were getting soaked.
