Myself and 5 friends stayed here in May for 1 night during our West Highland Way trip! Was a very welcome site after a long days walking. Fantastic accomodation and facilities...not to mention the stunning scenery!
Thanks to Fraser for his wonderful hospitality (and Pepe the friendliest dog ever!) and for showing us around.

We will be back!!

Did some volunteer work at Ardess in September. It rained all week and the work was tough. But there's nothing like coming back to a nice warm cosy lodge at the end of the day. The lodge is second to none and Alasdair and Fraser are legends.

For £15/per person a night it's a bargain. Also, if you fancy a break from climbing hills and you have a car then Stirling castle is only an hour away. Otherwise, you could take a trip round the islands of Ben Lomond or take a dip!

We stayed at the bunkhouse last summer, and it was perfect for the 5 of us. Great location, friendly service, and just a walk from the hotel.

(Oh, and it also has my favourite Munro in the back garden!).

Thanks to the team at Ardess, we'll hopefully be back soon.
