Across the road from Edinburgh’s Royal Botanic Gardens is Inverleith Park, a wide grassy meadow which is popular with sports clubs, such as rugby, football and bowls. It’s also used for outdoor events: in the past, both Taste Festival and Treefest have been held here.

This is one of the biggest, and best, parks in Edinburgh, with plenty of activities and space for adults, children, and dogs. Well worth a visit for the fabulous views of Edinburgh. You can find a link to a review with pictures
