Musselburgh Racecourse was originally laid out as Edinburgh Racecourse in 1816, and is the second biggest racecourse in Scotland, offering flat as well as National Hunt racing. It hosts the Scottish Sprint Cup and the Edinburgh Cup, as well as dozens of other fixtures throughout a typical year.
A variety of hospitality packages are available, and the racecourse is also available for wedding hire.
The course has several car parks. The nearest railway station is Wallyford, on the Edinburgh Waverley–North Berwick line, and a free courtesy bus to the station is available. Road access is via Musselburgh's High Street, which passes by the course and is one mile from the A1.

Scottish Half Marathon and 10km
The Scottish Half Marathon takes participants along the East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse. If you don't fancy 13.2 miles there's the 10km option which starts and finishes at Musselburgh Racecourse.
