Musselburgh Racecourse

Musselburgh Racecourse was originally laid out as Edinburgh Racecourse in 1816, and is the second biggest racecourse in Scotland, offering flat as well as National Hunt racing. It hosts the Scottish Sprint Cup and the Edinburgh Cup, as well as dozens of other fixtures throughout a typical year.

A variety of hospitality packages are available, and the racecourse is also available for wedding hire.

The course has several car parks. The nearest railway station is Wallyford, on the Edinburgh Waverley–North Berwick line, and a free courtesy bus to the station is available. Road access is via Musselburgh's High Street, which passes by the course and is one mile from the A1.

Musselburgh Racecourse is firmly established as one of the UK’s most stylish small racecourses!

As a boutique venue, and VisitScotland five star visitor attraction, the racecourse is the ideal location for a great day out. Located just six miles from Edinburgh, Musselburgh Racecourse provides the perfect day out for anyone visiting Scotland’s capital city to soak up all there is to offer.
