Dear Sirs or Madam.
During the last war my mother and me as a child were house temporari with a family named Akonhead or Aconhead sorry about the spelling it was my father had his training there because he was in the Cameronions Regiment disbanded now sadly it was amalgimated with other Scottish regiments i do not know if dad got the billet for us or the army anyway it was only temporory so mum could see him before he went overseas they had a son named Gordon thats the only info that I have he would be the one to find I think my folks are dead now so has his I emagine if you have any information I would be very grateful if you could let me know its along shot but without coming back to Stonehaven as we are getting on now its not possible to travel any distance.Yours hopefullyMr James Howgate.
