This visitor attraction tells the story of Dundee's industrial textile heritage within the setting of a refurbished mill building. Learn the stories of mill workers, and see how they lived and worked in this industry which was so vital to the city at large. You'll be able to explore this atmospheric setting and see and hear the machines at work.
At its peak, the industry employed 50,000 people across Dundee, supplying much of the world's demand for jute goods.
Verdant Works has won numerous awards, both national and international, and is a 5-star rated tourist attraction with VisitScotland. In 2008 its Jute collection was named as a Recognised Collection of National Significance.
