Scottish Sinfonia

The Scottish Sinfonia was founded in 1970 by Neil Mantle, who remains conductor to this day, and the amateur orchestra been praised for its stirring performances of late-romantic symphonic classics by Mahler, Bruckner and Strauss, including the Scottish premiere of Strauss' Alpine Symphony.
