Win tickets to Africa in Motion Film Festival Opening Gala at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh

Sorry, this competition has closed.

The List are teaming up with Africa In Motion Film Festival to offer readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to Talking About Trees; the opening gala of this year's festival at the Filmhouse.

Africa in Motion Film Festival returns for its 14th year and is coming back to Edinburgh and Glasgow this October (Fri 25 Oct - Sun 3 Nov).

In this uplifting documentary about Sudanese cinema, four retired directers are united by their love of film and passion to reopen their local cinema. Director Suhaib Gasmelbari weaves together rare footage of older African films and discussions between the four protagonists to retell the history of the country and cinema's important role in documenting resistance to political oppression.

After the film, you're welcome to stay and enjoy music, wine and African snacks to celebrate AiM's 14th festival.
