Win festival passes for Hidden Door Festival 2017

Returning for its fourth edition, the non-profit and 100% volunteer-run multi arts festival, Hidden Door; will this year take place in the old Leith Theatre; with 10 days and nights of music, theatre, visual art, film and spoken word bringing the stunning venue back to life.

Live music includes Scottish Album of the Year (SAY) award winners Anna Meredith and Kathryn Jospeh, Scottish indie legends Idlewild, rapper/saxophonist Soweto Kinch, 9-piece Riot Jazz and the multi-instrumental Hidden Orchestra. Plus Bossy Love, Bdy_Prts, Marnie (of Ladytron), Hamish Hawk, Dama Scout, and Hidden Door favourites Tinderbox Orchestra closing the festival in style. Plus more acts to be confirmed.

In theatre, Grid Iron and Ludens Ensemble will premiere a new works. Plus Tam Dean Burn, Heather Marshall and Creative Electric, Andrew Simpson, Jamie and Lewis Wardrop, Heroes Theatre, Kathryn Spence, SURGE and many more.

The Cinema welcomes collaborations and guest curators including Edinburgh Short Film Festival, Africa In Motion, Scottish Queer International Film Festival and Kino Klub.

Over 10 poets and collectives will bring a feast of spoken word, whist over 30 artists will transform every corner of the theatre, working in a variety of mediums including sculpture, sound, performance art and video.

Artists of all stripes congregate for the Hidden Door interdisciplinary arts festival, which features dozens of cool musicians, bands, artists, poets and filmmakers, often working in new and exciting combinations. It is hosted in an as-yet undisclosed, disused site in Edinburgh.
