LGBTQ+ Edinburgh Social Events

Established in 2003, LGBT Health and Wellbeing is a community organisation that works to improve the health, wellbeing and lived experiences of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) people and communities in Scotland.

We support LGBT people with the issues that impact their lives and address health inequalities in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, through a combination of direct service delivery, community learning development, capacity building and influencing work.

We offer a programme of support that is LGBT inclusive, including mental health support, social events and resources that respond to community needs, strengthen the resilience of LGBT people and reduces isolation.

We welcome the entire diversity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT), non-binary, queer, intersex and asexual communities and allies. This includes those questioning their sexuality or/and gender identity and those who do not use labels for either.

Our services and activities are for all people aged 16+.

All our services and activities are delivered under a Safe Space Commitment actively upheld by our staff and volunteers. A Safe Space is somewhere everyone feels welcome, respected and comfortable with being who they are. This includes people who access our services, volunteers and staff.
