Food and music meet in this local festival. For the foodies there's the Taste of Fife with a producers' market, cookery demonstrations and evening supper, while music fans can expect some top Scottish names. For the children there's a harbour festival. Among those confirmed for 2015 are the St Andrews Brewing Company, Seriously Good Venison and the Pittenweem Chocolate Company.

Crail Food Festival

Crail Food Festival, now in its fifth year, brings the picturesque Fife coastal village alive with a full weekend of activities designed to showcase the very best in outstanding local produce with over 80 participants taking part.

The weekend starts with a dinner and film night celebrating local Fife producers on Friday evening and on Saturday and Sunday, Crail Food Festival is in full swing across a number of different venues.

The festival includes:

A Friday film night themed to mark the launch of the Chocolate Larder activities for the weekend.
An Evening Supper on Friday run by Fife’s Lazy Sunday. This is an informal celebration of Fife food with a cookery demonstration, tastings and more.
A Food & Drink Emporium with local producers showcasing their food and drink including many award winning products, from jam to gin.
The Cookery Theatre including chefs from local inns to restaurants from the St Andrews fine dining scene.
Producer workshops which give the opportunity to get hands-on with food and drink.
New EAT Neuk Pop Up Food & Drink created by young people from across Fife.
A dedicated Children’s fun area for families to rest, have a snack, sit on the lawn, play traditional games and look out to sea, listen to a story and find out more about local produce with opportunities to have fun with food.
The Chocolate Larder celebrating Scottish chocolate with a range of interactive sessions from different chocolate producers.
An Evening of Patter and Batter on Saturday with comedy, food and drinks with traditional fish and chips, craft ale and wines available.
Sunday’s Harbour Festival which uses the iconic Crail Harbour as the backdrop for street food vendors and local producers coming together to host a massive picnic for visitors.
