World Press Photo Exhibition
The World Press Photo Award highlights the best press photography from around the world.
This summer, World Press Photo (WPP) Exhibition returns to the Scottish Parliament. We’ll be hosting the exhibition this year between Wednesday 1st August to Saturday 25th August (closed on Sundays) from 10am – 5pm, and entry is free.
WPP showcases some of the most powerful and thought-provoking images of the past year. The annual photo contest rewards photographers for the best single exposure pictures which have contributed to visual journalism throughout 2017, split into the below categories:
Contemporary Issues Environment General News Long-Term Projects Nature People Sports Spot News
