'The Irish For': Darach Ó Séachdha in Conversation

With Lynette Fay

Darach O'Saghdha is the author of popular twitter account @theirishfor and two best-selling books exploring the Irish language - Motherfoclir and Craic Baby. His dispatches from a 'not so dead language' have met with great critical acclaim and have won him the Non Fiction Book Award at the Irish Book Awards in 2017. Taking an irreverent and entertaining look at the Irish language and how it is used in today's society, Motherfoclir was also an exploration of the father-son relationship, while its follow-up, Craic Baby, looks at the language from a different family perspective.

Come on a journey through the complexities and joys of the Irish language with Darach, in conversation with Lynette Fay.
