Naomi Campbell's good defence
Naomi Campbell insists she is not a bad person.
The supermodel - who was recently convicted of assaulting two police officers in an air rage incident - believes people ignore the charity work she does and only focus on her bad points.
The 38-year-old beauty told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm not a bad person. When people say all these negative things about me, I ignore them. Let them be negative - but do that away from me. It hurts but I know there is much more good in the world.
"I'm blessed to be able to do charitable work and good things but nobody focuses on that because I don't throw it in people's faces. That's why they focus on the negatives."
Naomi also revealed she has been receiving support from fellow British model Kate Moss - and has vowed to return the favour following Kate's rumoured break-up from rocker Jamie Hince.
She added: "I am so lucky to have friends like Kate who are there for me whatever. Even if we are not on the same continent we support each other. That's what best friends do.
"I'm there for her, without a doubt. We've been through so much together.
"I'm just surprised at how many friends have come out of the woodwork to offer their support. At times like this you really know who your friends are and it means so much."
