Where to find the best events in Glasgow for kids this Easter weekend
The Easter weekend has rolled around once again and this year in Glasgow there are plenty of events on hand to keep the kids busy. There is, of course, the usual festive themed chocolate egg events on offer, but also some unique activities for the older ones who are too cool for the Easter bunny.
In collaboration with the Buttercup Dairy, Glasgow Life hosts a fun Easter Egg decorating event at the People's Palace. Children of all ages can hand decorate mini-eggs which the Buttercup Dairy will put on display in their shop window for the duration of the Easter holidays.
People's Palace & Winter Gardens, Fri 30 & Sat 31 Mar.
Mr Fibbers April Fools Show
A comedy show for the older kids (8–12 years recommended), Mr Fibbers is the sell-out kids comedian that the young ones can't get enough of. With a special show for April Fools you can expect some sneaky tricks. He'll be dishing out the jokes, songs, and magic to give your kids some good material for weeks to come.

With a Spring in Your Step
Teach the kids that spring isn't just about Easter and eggs at this event, which teaches all the ways that world religions and local faith communities mark the coming of the season. You'll bring your findings to life through making a spring collage and can also explore the St Mungo Museum when you're done.

Why not ditch the cute bunnies and go for something with a bit more ick at a Dinosaur Slime Party. The day includes arts and crafts activities, stories, treasure hunts and the chance for the children to make their own real-life dinosaur slime.

Grandad and Me Show & Workshop
An event that includes all the family – from grannies to babies. Grandad and Me is a piece of theatre that combines music, animation and dance which become a living storybook. In addition why not join in on a workshop based on the shows cross-generational themes and message.

Little Mix Tribute
If you missed out on getting tickets for your kids to the real thing (or just didn't want to shed out the money) then see a tribute to the band in a special matinee performance for the younger fans. Performing all the band's hits with identical choreography, it will give them their fix of the Mix.
