The Rolling Stones announce UK stadium tour, here's how to get tickets

Rock and roll legends to play in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff this summer

The Rolling Stones have announced five massive UK stadium shows, with tickets on sale at 9am on Fri 2 Mar.

Part two of the legendary rock band's No Filter tour sees them play another run of European dates, with five on British soil. They start off at London Stadium on Tue 22 May, heading north to Manchester United's home ground of Old Trafford on Tue 5 Jun.

Scotland welcomes the Stones to Edinburgh's BT Murrayfield on Sat 9 Jun, with the group playing in Cardiff on Fri 15 Jun and finishing in West London at Twickenham Stadium on Tue 19 Jun.

Fans can expect to hear hits like '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction', 'Paint It Black', 'Gimme Shelter' and 'Brown Sugar', with surprises in store too.

The group's guitarist Keith Richards says: 'It's such a joy to play with this band there's no stopping us, we're only just getting started really.

His long term partner in crime, Mick Jagger continues: 'This part of the No Filter tour is really special for the Stones.

'We are looking forward to getting back onstage in the summer and playing to fans in the UK and Ireland. Its always exhilarating going to cities we haven't played for quite a while and also some new venues for us like Old Trafford and The London Stadium.'

Tickets for The Rolling Stones go on sale at 9am on Fri 2 Mar.
