Legend of pop and folk brings hits from a career spanning seven decades to London on Sun 15 Jul
Paul Simon is to headline British Summer Time festival at London's Hyde Park on Sun 15 Jul. Tickets for the massive show go on general sale at 9am on Fri 2 Feb. Presale tickets are available through Barclaycard now.
Billed as Homeward Bound: The Farewell Performance, the show will see the legendary figure perform his best known songs, from a musical career spanning an incredible seven decades, for fans at the Great Oak Stage.
He originally found fame as part of the iconic duo Simon & Garfunkel, who released huge hits like 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'The Boxer', 'The Sound of Silence' and 'Mrs. Robinson'.
After the duo split in 1970, Simon went on to have a hugely successful solo career, releasing the album Graceland in 1986. Inspired by the music of South African townships, it featured the hit 'You Can Call Me Al'.
The full lineup for the Hyde Park show is still to be announced, but confirmed as special guests are James Taylor & his All Star Band and Bonnie Raitt. A special performance from a music legend awaits.
