Celebration of electronic music returns for its sixth year in 2018, across the May bank holiday weekend

Glasgow's Riverside Festival has announced electronica pioneers Leftfield and Four Tet will perform at this year's event. Tickets are on sale now.

Leftfield, the project of Neil Barnes and Paul Daley. Their 1995 album Leftism is still considered a genre classic, a half-live half-sampled fusion tribal, trance, dub, house and ambient influences, conceived by two men with roots in punk bands.

Four Tet, real name Kieran Hebden, released his ninth studio album Hidden Energy in September, and is set to perform at a sold out Barrowlands on Fri 16 Feb. Those who didn't get tickets for that show now have a second chance to see Hebden at the Riverside Museum

The latest announcement for the event also includes Sven Väth, Adam Beyer, Rødhåd and Robert Hood. Scotland's biggest electronic festival will also welcome performances from Nastia, Paula Temple, Saoirse and Ida.

Put together by Electric Frog & Pressure, the festival had previously announced Dax J, Dixon, Fatima Yamaha, Green Velvet, Jackmaster, Joy Orbison, Len Faki, Marcus Worqull, Richie Hawtin, Skream and Slam.

Riverside Festival takes place at Glasgow's Riverside Museum on Sat 26 and Sun 27 May. Tickets are on sale now.
