Scotland's finest faces his toughest professional test yet against the veteran Mexican at the SSE Hydro

Josh Taylor faces his toughest test yet in professional boxing on Sat Mar 3, when he faces off against Mexico's Humberto Soto at Glasgow's SSE Hydro. Tickets for the bout are on sale now.

Presented by Cyclone Promotions, the bout will give Prestonpans-born Taylor (11-0-0) the chance to prove he's worth a Worth Title challenge. Scotland's finest, who knocked out Miguel Vasquez back in November (the first to stop the Mexican in 45 fights) to retain his WBC silver super-lightweight, will face the veteran Soto (66-9-2) in Glasgow, intent on maintaining his impressive upward trajectory.

Joining the 27-year-old Scot as chief support on the night will be his compatriot Jason Easton, who will box Sunderland's Glen Foot for the Commonwealth Super Lightweight championship.

Elsewhere on the bill, Commonwealth Games icon Charlie (the Postman) Flynn will fight his eleventh professional bout, with the opponent still to be confirmed.

Tickets for Josh Taylor v Humberto Soto are on sale now.
