Australian tops a bill that includes punk legend Patti Smith, St Vincent and Courtney Barnett, as part of the APE present lineup on Sun 3 Jun
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are to headline a star studded show at London's Victoria Park on Sun 3 Jun 2018. Tickets for the show, which sees Patti Smith, St Vincent and Courtney Barnett support, go on sale at 9am on Fri 1 Dec.
Cave and his band are one of the most revered live acts in the world, known for their intense performances. The recent Skeleton Tree tour saw the group take command of arenas worldwide, playing the heartbreaking tracks from that grief stricken record, as well as cuts from their beloved back catalogue.
It's a phenomenal undercard for the Victoria Park show, with three incredible songwriters and artists booked to perform before Cave.
The punk legend Patti Smith, who needs no introduction, will take to the stage in London. Before her, St Vincent brings material from her latest album MASSEDUCTION and beyond, and Courtney Barnett brings her poetic musings and chilled out indie guitar pop to the stage.
The quartet join the lineup for All Points East, a new ten-day event featuring a diverse three-day music festival headlined by LCD Soundsystem, The xx and Bjork, and a four-day, community-focused midweek programme of comedy, food, outdoor cinema, culminating in three huge APE Presents shows.
Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds headline Victoria Park on Sun 3 Jun, while the previous night sees The National, The War on Drugs and Future Islands take to the stage.
Tickets for APE Presents… Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds go on sale at 9am on Fri 1 Dec.
