Kelly Jones and his band to bring anthems from their 20-year career to Wrexham's Racecourse Ground and Cardiff City Stadium
Stereophonics have announced two stadium shows in their home country of Wales next summer. The band will play at Wrexham's Racecourse Ground on Sat 2 Jun, and Cardiff City Stadium on Sat 9 Jun. Tickets for the gigs go on general sale at 10am on Mon 6 Nov.
The band had previously announced a UK arena tour in support of recently released tenth studio album Scream Above The Sounds.
Frontman Kelly Jones says he's particularly excited about bringing tracks from the new record, and from the band's entire back catalogue, to his home country.
Jones said: 'It's a privilege to have the following we have in Wales. The fans have stuck with us and believed in us no matter what path we have tried.
'We try to push ourselves out of our comfort zone and from doing that we see so many new young fans that have come on board also. The stadium shows are a celebration of twenty years of music, songs that have come honestly and truthfully. I can't believe I get to hear all those people singing them back to us.'
