Dull zoo task
The housemates are tiring of this week's Big Brother Zoo shopping task. Mikey and Luke - who are dressed as elephants and have to memorise an extract from 'The Elephant's Child' by Rudyard Kipling for the challenge - are finding the going particularly tough.
For every six words they get wrong the pair will incur one fail for the group - in order to win a luxury shopping budget no more than two pairs can fail.
In their first trial reading Mikey and Luke made 22 errors in the first paragraph alone and 142 overall.
Luke said despairingly: "Mikey, 142 mistakes you made."
Mikey replied: "That's a week's worth."
Luke responded: "Mikey, we couldn't get it if we had a week. It's virtually impossible. Mario was asking about the ETA (estimated time of arrival) of it and I said we haven't got a cat in hell's chance. We've not got an elephant's chance in an igloo of passing this test."
Jennifer and Rebecca - who are dressed as seals and must be doused in salty, fishy water - are also sick of the challenge.
Jennifer said: "I think we should give up now Bex. We can be the second fail and go to bed."
Obviously not thinking their task was particularly hard, Luke asked why they would fail.
An irritated Jennifer replied: "It's not easy when you're soaking wet and stinking of fish."
Flamingos Lisa and Stuart - who each had to balance on one leg for 20 minutes - have already passed their test.
