Scottish indie legends to play at Camden's KOKO on Sun 17 Dec, fifteen years after the release of the album

Idlewild have announced a special London date to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their third album The Remote Part. The show takes place at KOKO in Camden on Sun 17 Dec. Presale tickets for the show go on sale at 9am on Wed 1 Nov, with access to all those who're signed up to the band's mailing list. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Fri 3 Nov.

One of Scotland's best loved guitar bands, The Remote Part is still Idlewild's most successful album to date. Released in 2002 as the follow up the acclaimed 100 Broken Windows, it contained the singles 'You Held The World In Your Arms', 'American English', 'A Modern Way Of Letting Go' and 'Live In A Hiding Place'.

The band, comprised of founding members Roddy Woomble, Rod Jones and Colin Newton along with Luciano Rossi and Andrew Mitchell, will play the whole album from start to finish in Camden, along with choice cuts from a glorious two decades.
