The Human League joins Rag'n'Bone Man to see in the New Year at Edinburgh's Hogmanay

Following the announcement of Rag'n'Bone Man as the headline act at Edinburgh's official Concert in the Gardens, the rest of the live music bill for city's Hogmanay celebrations has been revealed. The Human League, Sacred Paws, Treacherous Orchestra, Barns Courtney and Huey Morgan will be joining the New Year's Eve party.

Sanjeev Kohli (Still Game, BBC) will host the party across three stages. 80s pop superstars The Human League will headline the Waverley Stage with support form Sacred Paws (who won this year's Scottish Album of the Year awards) folk / club fusion band Niteworks.

The East End stage will see live music from Treacherous Orchestra for a dose of fiery folk alongside indie singer-songwriter Barns Courtney and Colonel Mustard & the Dijon 5. 'Playing the Edinburgh Hogmanay party will be a dream come true for the Dijon 5,' explains Colonel John Thomas McMustard. 'We can't wait to get the audience from all over the world singing, laughing, dancing and crossing the road safely. We are going to bring our full party starting capabilities and peace love and mustard to the show. No one will leave without a big smile on their face!'

DJs take over the Castle Street Stage with The Mac Twins joined by Fun Lovin' Criminals' Huey Morgan (Radio 6 Music) for a mix of funk, dance, hip hop, soul and rock'n'roll.

Alongside the Street Party Declan McKenna and Nina Nisbett have been announced as Rag'n'Bone Man's support at the Concert in the Gardens. 'I can't wait to return to one of the best New Year celebrations in the world this New Year! It'll be so nice to be back in my home city bringing in 2018 with my friends and family,' added Nesbitt. And the lineup for the Ceilidh Under the Castle with Edinburgh Gin will feature The Occasionals, Heilan Crew and Kipper Ceilidh. With all live music taking a break at midnight to watch the huge fireworks display over Edinburgh Castle.
