Bruno Mars has been announced as the latest headline act for 2018's British Summer Time Festival at Hyde Park. The multi-million selling songwriter will top the bill on Sat 14 Jul, with tickets on sale Fri 20 Oct at 9am.
Following the huge success of Mars' 24K Magic world tour, which saw him play 172 shows across five continents in support of the album of the same name, the singer is set to bring his hit-filled set to London once again.
After guesting on B.O.B's 'Nothin on You' and Travie McCoy's 'Billionaire', Mars released his hugely successful debut album Doo Wops and Hooligans in 2010, which featured the hits 'Just The Way You Are', 'Grenade', 'The Lazy Song', 'Talking to the Moon' and 'Marry You'.
He followed it up with 2012's Unorthodox Jukebox and then last year's 24K Magic, which featuredn his seventh chart topping single, 'That's What I Like.'
He's joined at Hyde Park by rising star Khalid, who has been opening for Lorde recently, and was this year's winner of the MTV VMA for Best New Artist. Khalid's debut album American Teen features the singles 'Location', and 'Young, Dumb and Broke', with the former being streamed over 700 million times since its release.
Tickets for Bruno Mars at British Summer Time on Sat 14 Jul go on sale on Fri 20 Oct at 9am.
