Festive event set to bring the spirit of Christmas to Brum, with a month of illumination, food and drink and Christmas songs

Christmas is coming to Birmingham's Botanical Gardens this winter, for a special festive event set to take the city by storm. Tickets are on sale now.

Brum's newest attraction opens on Wed 29 Nov, and runs until Mon 1 Jan. It will see the trees, greenhouses and pathways of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens lit up, creating a magical after dark experience.

With classic Christmas songs reverberating through the crisp winter air, punters will be able to walk among glittering Christmas trees, enjoy a poignant moment at the flickering Fire Garden, and steal a kiss at Mistletoe Moment.

After adventuring through the transformed Botanics, there's treats galore, with mulled cider and wine, hot chocolate and roasted chestnuts all adding to the festive feeling.

For kids, there's the chance to ride a Victorian carousel, step onto the steam-boat swing, or nestle inside a giant bauble at the fabulous giant Christmas tree – and of course, there'll be appearances from Santa and his elves too.

Tickets for Christmas at Birmingham's Botanical Gardens are available now, go get 'em.
