Dinosaur Jr announce two intimate Glasgow shows for December 2017

- 19 July 2017
Alt-rockers and cult favourites J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph will play two shows at the city's Art School
J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph formed Dinosaur Jr in 1984 and over the course of the decade became one of the most influential guitar groups of their time, with their impact still reverberating in the present day.
The original trio played together on the group's debut, Dinosaur, and it's follow ups You're Living All Over Me and Bug. Tracks like 'Little Fury Things', 'Kracked', 'Freak Scene' and the groups take on The Cure's 'Just Like Heaven'.
The trio fell out soon after, with J Mascis continuing to record under the Dinosaur Jr name, but they reunited for 2007's Beyond and have released three more albums since then, Farm, I Bet on Sky and Give A Glimpse of What Yer Not.
The eagle-eyed amongst you may have even spotted J Mascis' acting cameo in Richard Ayoade's The Double, but he's better known for shredding his signature Jazzmaster. Get your tickets and witness it in person.
