Where to watch Wimbledon on the big screen in London

Free outdoor screenings of Britain's favourite tennis tournament complete with Pimm's, beach vibes and spectacular views

If you didn't manage to bag tickets to the real deal or you haven't quite got the stamina to queue for Henman Hill (or Murray Mound), then pack your quintessentially British Pimm's and strawberries and head to one of these viewing spots in the capital.

Strawberries and Screen

Plant your picnic blanket in prime position in front of the big screen at Duke of York Square, where they are screening all the key matches during Wimbledon's final weekend. Grab a glass of Pimm's and some strawberries and cream from Partridges pop up bar while your kids enjoy a complimentary tennis lesson from a professional tennis coach.
Strawberries and Screen, Duke of York Square, Chelsea, 14–16 Jul, free.

The Scoop

Fancy watching Wimbledon coverage from the comfort of a concrete amphitheatre? Then grab a cushion and head to the banks of the River Thames where the tournament is screening on an LED screen at The Scoop as part of the London Bridge City Summer Festival. The amphitheatre is also known to hold free film screenings, swing, salsa, zumba and spinning classes as well as live music performances.
The Scoop, The Scoop at More London, The Queen's Walk, Bankside, until Sun 16 Jul, free.

Madison's at One New Change

On the roof of the One New Change building you can watch all the centre court action with stunning background views of St Paul's Cathedral. Visitors are welcome to bring in their own food and drink (no glass allowed) or they can enjoy a two course meal at Madison's, with a complimentary glass of champagne for the duration of the tournament.
Madison's at One New Change, One New Change, until Sun 16 Jul, free.

Wimbledon Gone East

Spitalfields have transformed their market into the ultimate Wimbledon fan zone with their own Henman Hill, deck chairs, strawberries, Pimm's, champagne, cucumber sandwiches, tennis training, challenges, live music and of course, screens showing Friday's coverage. Expect street food from Bleecker Burger, Cafe Caribbean, Turkish Wrap House and Poppies Fish and Chips.
Old Spitalfields, Horner Square, Fri 14 Jul, free.

Pimm's Wimbledon Bar

More Pimm's because, Wimbledon. The terrace is smaller than others so you'll have to fight for a space in front of the screen, but there are killer views to enjoy as well as afternoon tea. Tennis fun continues in the food hall with a Wimbledon themed bakery.
Pimm's Wimbledon Bar, The Roof Deck, Selfridges, Oxford Street, until Sun 16 Jul, free.

Big Screen on the Beach

Roundhouse's urban beach team up with Big Beach Screen Events to hold a unique outdoor cinema experience throughout the summer. Wimbledon finals are shown on Sat 15 and Sun 16 Jul, meaning you can watch all the action with sand between your toes. Street food and drink are available to purchase from the beach-side stalls.
Roundhouse, Chalk Farm Road, Camden, Sat 15–Sun 16 Jul, free.
