Legendary Belfast singer-songwriter adds two Devon gigs to his UK tour for November

Van Morrison has announced shows in Torquay and Plymouth, with tickets on sale Mon 3 Jul at 7pm.

The legendary Belfast singer-songwriter has added the two Devon shows to his existing November UK tour. The 'Moondance' and 'Brown Eyed Girl' singer will play at Torquay's Princess Theatre on Fri 24 Nov, and the following night will make the short trip to Plymouth Pavilions.

With a musical career spanning half a century, Van the Man's arrival in the south west of the country should bring excitement.

From his early pop hits, to the sweeping folk desperation of the classic album Astral Weeks, to the rhythm and blues style that, alongside his breathtaking vocals, has characterised the majority of his musical output since, Van has been entertaining audiences since he was a teenager in Northern Ireland.

Known for being a bit of a curmudgeon, it doesn't stop Van, who's in his 70s, from an impressive tour schedule and a setlist that brings the hits to the party. If he's a little bit eccentric, then all the better.
