Now in it's 18th year on London's West End, Disney's award-winning music The Lion King has extended its run at the Lyceum Theatre for the 2017/18 musical season, with tickets on sale now.
The current production now runs until Sun 4 Feb 2018. Based on the 1994 Walt Disney film of the same name, it follows the journey of Simba, a young Lion aspiring to be like his father Mufasa, the king of Pride Rock.
Featuring all the animals of Pride Rock, including Rafiki, Timon and Pumbaa, the stage show is a visually spectacular carnival of colour. It includes iconic songs like 'I Just Can't Wait to Be King', 'The Circle of Life', 'Endless Night' and 'Shadow Land' – developed by the likes of Elton John, Tim Rice and Hans Zimmer, it's an unforgettable soundtrack full of bona fide musical anthems.
With acclaimed director Julie Taymor guiding a cast of veritable talent, a seat at The Lyceum will transport you right to the majestic Serengeti Plains, for a night that'll stun the whole family.
