LCD Soundsystem announce Glasgow Barrowland show, find out how to buy tickets

James Murphy's reformed band play the iconic venue on Tue 19 Sep with tickets on sale Wed 21 Jun

LCD Soundsystem have announced a show at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on Tue 19 Sep, with tickets on sale Wed 21 Jun at 9am.

James Murphy's group, who disbanded back in 2011 after the release of third album This Is Happening, reformed last year for a string of festival shows at the likes of Primavera Sound, Coachella, Glastonbury and T in the Park.

Since then, fans have been waiting nervously for news of a comeback tour, and the signs are promising. Murphy says a fourth album is now finished, and the Barrowlands announcement means their return, and possibly even news of a full UK tour, is getting closer.

During their first shows of 2017 in New York the group played new tracks including the recently released 'Call The Police' and 'American Dream', as well as the provisionally titled 'Haircut' and 'Tonight'.

With a life-affirming live show and a back catalogue that contains the rousing 'All My Friends', the melancholy 'New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down' and the indie-disco classic 'Daft Punk Is Playing At My House', theirs is truly an unmissable show.

*An extra show has been added at Glasgow Barrowlands on Wed 20 Sep*

Tickets for LCD Soundsystem at Glasgow Barrowlands go on sale Wed 21 Jun at 9am.
