Iconic band have replaced their two Manchester Arena shows with one huge stadium gig, extra tickets are now available
Radiohead have announced their only headline show in England for 2017, with tickets on sale Sat 17 Apr at 10am.
The iconic, genre defying rock band were due to perform two shows at Manchester Arena on Tue 4 and Wed 5 Jul. With the venue, and city, still recovering from the horror of May's terror attack, the group have cancelled those shows and will instead play one huge show at the Emirates Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Tue 4 Jul.
With increased venue capacity and returned tickets available, fans have a second bite of the cherry for the much anticipated gig.
The band are celebrating 20 years since the release of their classic album OK Computer with OKNOTOK, a re-release that includes the likes of 'Karma Police', 'Paranoid Android' and 'Let Down' but also tracks like 'Lift' and 'I Promise', rousing anthems that the band played at arenas and festivals prior to recording OK Computer.
Touring extensively since last year's A Moon Shaped Pool was released, Radiohead have been playing songs from each album at the gigs, from the twitchy electronica of The King of Limbs' Lotus Flower, to the confrontational '2+2=5' from Hail To The Thief; and from Kid A's memorable cacophony 'The National Anthem' to Amnesiac's gorgeous Pyramid Song. They even occasionally end their set with breakthrough single 'Creep' from debut album Pablo Honey.
A Moon Shaped Pool offers an instant classic of it's own, Thom Yorke's 'Daydreaming' a breathtaking addition to an already incredible canon.
