Time travel, kilts and sex: Outlander heading to More4 in June

Outlander to be shown on UK TV for the first time

Season one of the wildly popular Highland-based series will air on free to air UK TV for the first time

Fans of Highland bodice-ripper Outlander, hold onto your hats because it's coming to your screens. Again.

After being bagged by Amazon Prime for the first two series, More4 has now acquired the rights, and people without all that new-fangled streaming nonsense will be able to watch the time-traveling series on their telly screens. (And on your computer, and tablets, etc, too). They'll be broadcasting the series from the very start, presumably as fans wait for season three to be announced.

The small-screen adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's best-selling book proved to be wildly popular, no doubt in part to the fact that smouldering Sam Heughan plays the lead role, alongside Caitriona Balfe and Tobias Menzies.

Needless to say, the internet is living for it.

Outlander airs on More4, Jun 2017.
