Marc Almond announces UK tour for Autumn 2017, find out how to get tickets

Soft Cell singer will perform hits like Tainted Love, Bedsitter and Say Hello, Wave Goodbye as well as much loved cover versions and solo hits

Marc Almond has announced an extensive UK for Autumn 2017, with presale tickets on sale Thu 18 May at 10am.

The 17-date tour will see Almond, one of British pop music's most gifted and distinctive vocalists, perform hits from across his impressive 36-year career, as well as covers and cuts from his new album Shadows and Reflections. He'll be accompanied by an orchestra, playing new arrangements of much loved songs and you can expect to hear tracks by the likes of Burt Bacharach, David Bowie and Billy Fury.

Almond has been a household name since the early 1980s, when he found fame with Soft Cell, before embarking on a profilic and admirably diverse solo career. He's sold over 30 million albums worldwide in the process.

The tour kicks off at London's Royal Festival Hall on Tue 3 Oct and runs through to Tue 5 Nov, when Almond brings his musical fireworks to Edinburgh's Usher Hall.

With numerous classics to his name, such as 'Tainted Love', 'Bedsitter' and – recently put to wonderful use in Netflix's Master of None – 'Say Hello, Wave Goodbye' – it promises to be a memorable night.
