Canadian group are expected to announce a new album in 2017 and have been debuting new songs at secret shows
Arcade Fire have announced an intimate show at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on Thu 8 Jun, with tickets on sale Wed 17 May at 9am.
The Canadian group – comprised of William Butler, Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsbury and Richard Reed Parry – are expected to release a new album in 2017, and have been debuting new songs at secret shows in their hometown of Montreal.
Anti-Trump single 'I Give You Power', which featured Mavis Staples and donated all profits to ACLU, was released in January, but other than that small teaser the group's next move is clouded in mystery.
With a stunning back catalogue, encompassing the apocalyptic Funeral and Neon Bible, the mature, adventurous Grammy award-winning The Suburbs and 2013's dance-influenced Reflektor, tickets are sure to sell out quickly for a show that – by Arcade Fire's lofty popularity – is an intimate affair. Do not miss out, you'll regret it.
Tickets for Arcade Fire at Edinburgh's Corn Exchange on Thu 8 Jun are available on Wed 17 May at 9am.
