Ruth Langsford bans Eamonn Holmes from CBB
Eamonn Holmes isn't allowed to do 'Celebrity Big Brother' because his wife Ruth Langsford is worried he'll embarrass her
Ruth Langsford won't allow her husband Eamonn Holmes to do 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 'This Morning' presenter has admitted he's approached every year by bosses at Channel 5 about taking part in the reality TV show but he has to turn them down every single time because his spouse would be too embarrassed by his behaviour.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "I know they do ask me in fairness. But Ruth doesn't allow it. She is like I don't want people to see you with your hair standing on end, working around in your underwear. She is very protective."
However, the blonde beauty shouldn't have any concerns about what Eamonn might come out with on national television as the pair openly talk about their sex life regularly.
The couple - who have been married since 2010 but have been together for 20 years - gave fans an insight into their bedroom antics while presenting 'This Morning' recently.
During a chat with a women who says she is happy in a sexless marriage, Eamonn said: "Sex is very important to me!"
Ruth then replied: "It's Friday fun night tonight, darling!"
And then Eamonn quipped that he only had sex once a month, joking with his wife: "There's only one Friday in the month."
But Ruth - who has son Jack, 14, with Eamonn - previously opened up about a potential pooch problem as she lets her dog sleep with her when her husband is away but wouldn't want her dog around when the pair get intimate as she thinks it would ruin the mood.
She said: "I have to say five years ago before I had my gorgeous, beautiful, wonderful Maggie - who is the best dog in the world - I used to think that people who did all that dog in the bed stuff were a bit crazy, but I am now that person. When we got Maggie I said, 'No going upstairs and definitely no going on the bed.'
"Now she practically sleeps in the bed with her head on the pillow, mostly with Jack ... When Eamonn is away I do like her on the bed. Me and Jack fight over her, I'm like, 'Come on it's my turn, I never get Maggie!'
"She doesn't really sleep with Eamonn and I ... What if you wanted to be intimate with your partner? Those eyes on you, I couldn't do it. What if they started barking encouragement?"
