Rahat Fateh Ali Khan announces London date at SSE Arena for 2017

Distinguished qawwali and playback singer performs his greatest Bollywood hits and a tribute to his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
Qawwali singer-songwriter Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be performing live at the SSE Arena, Wembley, London, on Sat 16 Sep, where he plays the biggest hits from his Bollywood career. This will also be part of his special 'Tribute Tour' where he will perform the music of his distinguished uncle and music tutor, qawwali maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, to mark the 20th anniversary of his death.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan comes from a family of musicians. He started singing at the age of eight and has worked on the soundtracks of over 100 Bollywood films, winning multiple awards in India, Pakistan, London and Asia. He also collaborated with Pearl Jam and his uncle for 1995's Dead Man Walking and his vocals were featured on the soundtrack from Mel Gibson's Apocalypto. Stand-out performances include MTV Unplugged India in 2011; the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize concert, and a celebration of Pakistani Day at the United Nations in 2016. He has appeared as a judge on TV talent shows in India and Pakistan and has released over 50 albums.
