Mike Epps to star in 'Acts of Violence' opposite Bruce Willis
Mike Epps is to appear in 'Acts of Violence' with Bruce Willis.
The 46-year-old American stand-up comedian-turned-actor is set to star in the new action film, being made by Emmett, Furla and Oasis Films studios.
Epps will play the role of bad guy Max Livingston, who is in charge of a human-trafficking ring and is pursued by Detective Avery, played by Willis.
The film marks the second collaboration between Epps and Willis as they were last together on set of the Eli Roth-directed 'Death Wish' late last year.
They join Cole Hauser, Shawn Ashmore, Sophia Bush and Melissa Bolona who have also been cast in the film, under the helm of Brett Dono.
Principal photography is expected to start next week, commencing on March 27.
The film is based on some vigilante brothers who infiltrate human trafficking ring to extricate a loved one.
Randall Emmett, George Furla and Tony Callie are producing, with Brandon Hogan, Wayne Marc Godfrey and Robert Jones as executive producers on the movie.
Epps also plays lead in the Weinstein Company's Richard Pryor biopic as well as 'The Trap', opposite T.I., which he is producing.
Hauser, who also co-starred with Willis in the 2013 sequel 'A Good Day to Die Hard' is set to star in the indie drama 'The Last Champion'.
