Former 'Big Brother' contestant Dawn Blake has lost her case against the reality show.

Dawn - who appeared in the seventh series of the programme in 2006 but was thrown out on the sixth day after being accused of communicating with the outside world - said the 'Stinky Dawn' nickname she acquired from the public was due to unfair editing, and complained to TV watchdog Ofcom.

She claimed Channel 4 had infringed her privacy by keeping her in the house after she had requested to leave and continued to film her.

However, Ofcom ruled Dawn could not expect to accuse the network of infringing her privacy after agreeing to appear on a show such as 'Big Brother'.

A statement from Ofcom read: "Ofcom has not upheld Ms Blake's complaints of unfair treatment in 'Big Brother', 'Big Brother's Big Mouth' and 'Big Brother's Little Brother' and unwarranted infringement of privacy in the making of 'Big Brother'."
