Big Brother's nomination nightmare

Big Brother host Davina McCall

Chanelle Hayes thinks 'Big Brother' contestants should be forced to nominate in front of each other.

The former reality show contestant thinks introducing the cringe-making nomination process would "spice things up" in the house when the new series starts next Thursday (05.06.08).

She said: "If contestants had to nominate in front of each other every week, it would really spice things up. They would have to sort it out face-to-face and it would cause some pretty heated rows."

Chanelle - who had an on-screen romance with fellow contestant Ziggy Lichman last year - also thinks the introduction of couples into the house would be a sure fire way to antagonise other housemates.

She added: "Why not put a few couples in the house? They would gang up against the others and imagine if one of them cheated - it would make fantastic viewing!"

Celebrity agent Dave Read also thinks relationships in the famous house make good TV, adding: "What has worked well in the past is relationships. We all like a good romance - so I would put 12 extremely good-looking people in the house and then sit back and watch them get it on!"
