Live shows from the Scots soul star to promote second album Long Live The Angels

Scottish soul / R&B singer Emeli Sandé has announced four dates as she tours the UK in March 2017. Calling at Edinburgh, Birmingham, London and Leeds to promote second album Long Live The Angels her long awaited follow up to 2012's Our Version of Events.

Over the last four years Sandé won three Brit Awards (Critics Choice, Best Album, Female Solo) and multiple MOBOs; performed at both the Opening and Closing Olympic ceremonies in London; has written for artists as diverse as Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Cheryl Cole, Gorgon City, Tinie Tempah and Susan Boyle; while Our Version of Events went on to be the highest selling album of 2012 (and the second biggest seller of 2013!) with over 4.6 million sold worldwide, powered by singles 'Next to Me', 'Read All About It' and 'Clown'.

Long Live The Angels looks like it will be similarly popular. Showcasing her powerful vocals it is a more grounded personal record focusing on her life in the last four years. Featuring collaborations with producers Naughty Boy and Chris Loco, while her father and cousins appear as The Serenje Choir on 'Tenderly.' Recently stating: 'It's very raw, very emotional. It's a very soulful album. I've been 100 percent honest on this album. Everything is out there. If you want to get to know me, then you will with this album.'
