Melvin Odoom has put a sex ban on himself during 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The TV and radio presenter admitted he has been left so exhausted by rehearsals that he has decided to cut out sex in order to conserve his energy for the BBC show.
He told the Daily Mirror: "I used to have a rule that before any big show I don't have sex.
"It is like football; you want to have the energy. So come this weekend, sorry ladies, Melvin will not be around for any lovemaking.
"I did the same when I was doing 'The Xtra ' and when I was doing 'Bang on the Money'. There was no sex for me."
Melvin previously revealed he hoped to find love on the show but that is now looking unlikely.
He said: "Every single dancer on the show is taken this year. I've met a lot of their partners as well.
"It's not like 'Strictly' is the only place to date someone. The only celebrity on the show who is single is Laura Whitmore.
"She's my really good friend though. We've worked a lot together."
No doubt he has been left disappointed by the lack of single dancers, as Melvin previously said: "All the dancers are amazing and I'm a single guy. If a hot, good looking professional dancer falls in love with me, I can't stop that from happening. You can't hold back love. Who am I to stand in the way of love? I'm definitely going to enjoy the experience."
