Double headline show from the kings of nu metal
Korn and Limp Bizkit have sold over 75 million albums between them. Now two of the biggest names in metal are joining forces for a monumental double headline tour of the UK in December with dates including Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.
Korn practically invented nu metal. Life is Peachy (1996), Follow the Leader (1998) and Issues (1999) set the template with their mix of down-tuned guitars, funk bass and Jonathan Davis' dark confessional lyrics. Not forgetting Davis' love of bagpipes. In recent years collaborating with Skrillex to add dubstep to their furious metal. Guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch recently telling Blabbermouth that their forthcoming album, The Serenity of Suffering, will be 'heavier than anyone's heard us in a long time.'
Korn also discovered Limp Bizkit, inviting them on tour before Fred Durst and co were even signed. Adding hip hop beats and DJ kicks to Wes Borland's monstrous riffs Limp Bizkit are an incendiary live act behind huge hits 'Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)', 'Nookie', 'Break Stuff' and 'Take a Look Around', their album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water topped the charts across the globe in 2000.
'You may have experienced a lot of cool concerts in your life, but I can guarantee you that an evening with Korn and Limp Bizkit will always and forever be your favourite,' adds Limp Bizkit front man Durst. 'No one brings the party harder, heavier, and more exciting than us. No one! And make sure you get plenty of rest the night before. It's time to bring it back!"
