Where to get down, any night of the week
You need a club night for every day of the week. We have the goods. From pop to house, techno to hip hop and copious amounts of cheese, Kirstyn Smith picks the club nights you should be indulging in this year.

Join your resident pals Fusion and Beef, who have been keeping the weekend going for six years now, serving classic and new hip hop, plus bass, garage, grime and house.

The main hall has Gav Sommerville playing a mix of genres (plus a bouncy castle), while the Desperados Bar sees DJ Billy spinning rock to start your week off with a bang.
Hector's House, Cabaret Voltaire
Cab Vol's midweek shindig, HH plays house in its many forms, from vocal to progressive via disco, electro and Chicago grooves, with guest DJs by
Killer Kitsch, The Buff Club

Tribe, Liquid Room
Your midweek student night can be found at the wild-themed Tribe – expect drinks promos and good sounds all night long.
World Famous, Sugarcube
International club night with Steve Le Mash blending a delicious cocktail of club classics, with hip hop, house and chart hits on the side.
Hullabaloo, Bongo Club
Underground party vibes – think funky mash-ups, breaks, beats and hip hop – to get your weekend started just that little bit earlier.
JellyBaby, o2 ABC
Your MWI Thursday night club is this delicious mix of electro, breaks, hip hop and R&B. With outrageously cheap drinks offers to boot, you'd be daft not to get on it.
Wendy House, The Street
One of the city's best DJs, Trendy Wendy takes over the Street each Friday to get your weekend off to a grand old start. There's a different genre in each room – just go wherever the music takes you, man.
Flex Fridays, Lola's
The FF boys have the party on lockdown and are offering up disco, house, chart funk and a bangin' party atmosphere for you to do with what you wish.
The Big Cheese, Potterrow
A true Edinburgh institution, TBC is a student night with the best in cheddar-flavoured chart tunes and anthems. It's the club night you'll look back semi-fondly on after graduation.
Subculture, Sub Club
Well-established house night reigning supreme with residents Harri and Domenic, plus a regular lineup of hot big-name guests.
Coalition, Sneaky Pete's
Residents drop drum & bass, breaks, dubstep, techno and electro each Sunday. You'd be wise to keep an eye out for their impressive roster of guest DJs too.
Sunday Science, The Garage
DJ Grantos plays chart, remix and mash-up and revellers can expect cannons, experiments, LED wands, plus 'bombers, hunners eh bombers'.
