'Loose Women' have recruited celebrity trio Stacey Solomon, Martine McCutcheon and Lisa Riley as the new permanent panellists on the ITV show.

Stacey Solomon, Martine McCutcheon and Lisa Riley are set to become full-time panellists on 'Loose Women'.

The celebrity trio have been making frequent appearances on the daytime ITV talk show in recent months and TV bosses have now decided to make them permanent members of the panel in light of their success.

Stacey - who rose to fame on the sixth series of 'The X Factor' - wrote on Twitter: "So proud to be a part of the @loosewomen family! Here's to more laughs and surprises! Yaaaaaaay!! (sic)"

Lisa, meanwhile, revealed her dramatic weight loss on the programme earlier this year, explaining to viewers that she had dropped from a size 30 to a size 14.

Martine, on the other hand, has teamed up with Stacey to film their own version of Carpool Karaoke for the show - an idea made famous by James Corden on 'The Late Late Show' in the US.

Their appointments come as Sherrie Hewson prepares to make her last appearance on the show today (05.09.16).

The former 'Coronation Street' star, who has enjoyed a 14-year stint on the programme, recently revealed she was quitting 'Loose Women' to pursue her ambition of making it in Hollywood.

She previously shared: "I had a chance to go to Hollywood early in my career but I turned it down and I always wondered whether I'd done the right thing.

"I have a friend who's a casting director in LA and he sent me an email saying I'd be perfect for work over there now.

"He said they love British actresses who are older as we can still move our faces.

"Acting has always been my passion and I take it really seriously, so I think it's time for me to go back to that full time.

"I look at people like Betty White from 'The Golden Girls', still working at 94. She's still out there, she's proof we can all do it.

"How exciting is that at my age to think I could still be having a Hollywood adventure?"
