Craig Charles is set to make a return to the 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' jungle later this year after his stint was cut short by his brother's death in 2014.

Craig Charles is being lined up for 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' - again.

The former 'Coronation Street' star spent four days in the jungle two years ago when his stint was cut short after his brother Dean tragically died from a heart attack, but now bosses are desperate to get him back and are willing to offer him a huge sum.

A source told The Sun Online: "The producers are eager to get Craig back in the jungle after he had to sadly leave so early on in the run two years ago because of his brother's death. He was a popular camp mate in the short time he was in and bosses know he would have been a great contestant if he'd stayed on the show.

"They know that he was enjoying getting into camp life but sadly, due to circumstances beyond his control, he was forced to leave and go home to his family. They wanted to get him back on the show last year but he was already committed to filming new episodes of BBC Two's Dave's sci-fi comedy 'Red Dwarf.' "

Bosses of the creepy-crawly show are convinced Craig will jump at the chance to return to the Australian jungle but have got a mega-money deal lined up if not.

The insider said: "They think he would be happy to return and pick off where he left off in 2014 but are happy to make him an offer he might not be able to refuse."

Meanwhile, Craig may not be the only previous contestant to make a return to the outback as Spencer Matthews is also in the rumoured line up.

The 'Made in Chelsea' hunk joined the show last year but was forced to leave just a few days into his stint after producers found out he was taking steroids.

Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, former UKIP leader Nigel Farage, Robbie Savage and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini are also said to be on the hit list.
