Beenie Man has Zika virus
Beenie Man was denied entry into Canada and was forced to cancel his appearance at Toronto's OVO Festival after catching the Zika virus.
Beenie Man has contracted the Zika virus.
The 'I'm Drinking Rum & Red Bull' hitmaker was forced to cancel his performance at OVO Festival in Toronto, Canada on Saturday (30.07.16) as he was denied entry into the country after catching the mosquito-born disease.
The 42-year-old reggae superstar - whose real name is Anthony Moses Davis - took to his Instagram to share a picture of himself having injections in a hospital bed where he's undergoing treatment and apologised to his fans for missing his set.
Alongside the photo, he wrote: "ah know...dah week ya deal wid me a way!!

The same Zika mosquito gi mi dengue.
Blood test, injections, pills. Wi a hol firm still. Selassie a guide I n I right through so once mi have life me a give thanks. #Unstoppable (sic)"
Ticketing company, Ticketmaster, also confirmed that he'd had to pull out of the concert and announced he would be replaced.
In a statement, they said: "Due to immigration issues Beenie Man will no longer be able to perform as part of OVO Fest 2016 on Saturday July 30 at TD Echo Beach in Toronto. In his place we have booked a slew of surprise special guests and of course Machel Montano will still headline as planned, with special guests of his own."
The Zika virus is transmitted by mosquitoes and is similar to the deadly dengue fever.
